slsgb beach lifeguard award
An internationally recognised 40 hour course which gives you the qualification to apply for lifeguard work with the RNLI as well as lifeguard organisations abroad.

surf coach safety
This 24 hour course provides you with the minimum recognised standard qualification for those undertaking surf coaching and instruction activities.
It is giving the necessary skills and knowledge to provide rescue, response and life support in order to demonstrate a level of competence for the safety of participants under instruction. Minimum age : 16 yrs

swimmer safety and rescue
This specifically designed course is aimed at swimmers and coaches/teachers looking to further their knowledge of the sea environment, risk assessment and how to rescue a swimmer in trouble.
A great bolt on CPD, filled with useful and practical information!
Price includes access to the Coast to Coast online learning platform to prepare your course.

board rescuer
This course is aimed at coaches or swimmers already qualified as a
"Swimmer safety and rescue" (see our course above), looking to further their
skills by using a rescue board within their sessions.
A great bolt on skill, allowing you to be in the water with your swimmers,
providing a good vantage point, mobility along with the group, resting and
briefing point, perfect if you feel restricted on the shore and a great rescue device!

course revalidations
LIFEGUARD AND SURF COACH SAFETY AWARD
Both qualifications are valid for 2 years from date of qualification.
Then you have a choice either retake a full course. (Recommended if you haven't gained any experience) and validate the award for another two years.
Or join us for a one day refresher training and validation exam. This validates your award for another year.
SWIMMER SAFETY AND RESCUE
We recommend refreshing these skills after 24 months and offer a one day follow up course (£95) whereby we put you through scenarios to build confidence, iron out any problems caused by skill fade as well as helping to improve technique and build on what you learnt from your initial course
