Grab your SUP's, kayak's or prone paddle boards and come join us for our "Paddle for Purpose" hosted by Coast to Coast Water Safety. This is not a race, rather a chance to do something fun for something great.
The Great British Paddle is an official world record attempt by Jordan Wylie to complete a full circumnavigation of Great Britain on a stand up paddle board in aid of frontline children.
After meeting and paddling a bit with Jordan we were inspired to help
support him in his mission, and thought why not get a group together and
do our own mini paddle - its not quite round a country, but if we can help
drum up some funds for Jordan and have some fun at the same time,
then that's got to be a good thing?
The purpose of this paddle is primarily to help raise money for
Frontline Children, a charity helping to build a school out in Djibouti, Africa,
but you may also have your own purpose for joining this paddle. With so
much going on at the moment a paddle could be a great way to challenge
yourself, get outdoors or just a way to meet new like minded people.
