the junior water safety programme

Launched in 2022 The Junior Water Safety Programme is a fully funded project to deliver practical water safety skills to youngsters in school years 5 and 6.

This project is run in partnership with Dartmouth Swimming club and aims to provide kids confidence in the water as well as equip them with some skills and knowledge to help keep them and their friends safe when around water.

Fundraising and support from local businesses, local community and the incredible members of Dartmouth Swimming Club have allowed this project to be rolled out to local kids free of charge, making access to swimming and water safety free to those who live in and enjoy our fantastic coastline.
